That's like major news for today! Twitter acquired Atebits, the company behind one of the most successful twitter clients both on the iPhone and Mac. Twitter says that in the upcoming weeks, Tweetie 2 will go free (currently $2.99), and will have its name changed to Twitter for iPhone, and might appear on your iPhone under the caption "Twitter".
